Joel Kon
Managing Partner
Joel Kon graduated from the University of Reading (England) with an LL.B (Hons) degree and professional qualifications from both Malaysia and the United Kingdom. He completed his Certificate in Legal Practice (Malaysia) and chambered at Shearn Delamore & Co in Kuala Lumpur where he was primarily engaged in the Intellectual Property and Personal Data Protection areas of practice. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He then pursued the Bar Professional Training Course at City University in London and was called to the Bar of England & Wales as a Barrister-at-Law by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
His experience encompasses legal due diligence exercises on various public and private limited companies, trademark registration and patent litigation matters, general corporate advisory work as well as conveyancing matters. Joel Kon has previously obtained an Ontario Scholarship Award to pursue his career in North America.

Since the founding of this firm, he is instrumental in building the team to greater heights.
Margaret Tan
Partner
Margaret graduated from the University of Liverpool and was called to the English Bar at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

Margaret has advised on judicial management proceeding for debtors and schemes of arrangement for creditors. She has also been involved in matters relating to anti-money laundering and anti-human trafficking disputes. Her other practice areas involves corporate and commercial, breach of trust and real estate/conveyancing matter.

She regularly appears in the Courts at all levels, is trilingual and has provided legal advices to our Chinese and Taiwanese clients.
